One of the great pleasures in managing a manufacturing business is employing new apprentices and helping them develop into qualified trades persons. At Wrapco Sarah Alderman our 4th year apprentice was awarded 2012 Apprentice of the Year - Print Sector, at RMIT University.

Sarah began working at The Wrapping Paper Company in 2009 and commenced a mature age apprenticeship in 2010. Sarah operates our CMF 6 colour Flexographic press which is used to print gift wrapping paper with.

The awards were held at The International Centre of Graphic Technology in Brunswick. The centre is a primary provider of formal training in graphic technologies including Flexographic printing. The awards were addressed by Michael Goss, Deputy Dean Vocational Education & Training and Colin Lewis, Chairman The Collie Print Trust.

Sarah received her award from Collin Lewis, Chairman The Collie Print Trust which includes a monetary scholarship provided by The Collie Print Trust.
